Day 3 | Virgin Voyages #cruise

Day 3 with Virgin Voyages🌴🇩🇴 ✨Our port day was in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and we arrived around 10:30 AM with an all aboard time of 6:30 PM. My biggest tip? Give yourself plenty of time to get back to the ship. I always return 2 to 3 hours early because the last thing I want is to be the person watching the ship sail away without me 😂 Plus, it gives you time to relax and avoid the long lines getting back onboard. ✨Once you get off the ship, it’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the pier to Taino Bay. Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll definitely be doing some walking. Taino Bay has pools, a lazy river, food, drinks, entertainment, and plenty of places to relax. Just know there isn’t an actual beach there, so if you’re expecting sand and ocean access, keep that in mind. ✨You’ll also find lots of locals offering tours as you walk through the area. If your goal is simply to visit Umbrella Street and Pink City, you can easily walk there on your own without paying for a tour. We explored the area, spent time with the locals, and then headed back to Taino Bay to enjoy the pool and entertainment before returning to the ship. A lot of people choose to do excursions in Puerto Plata, but if you’re looking for a laid back day, Taino Bay is perfect to relax in the pool. #virginvoyages #cruise #dominicanrepublic #influencer
