Our Cruise Was DELAYED! 4hrs in Sitka, AK with NO Excursions - Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas
Our ship, The Serenade of the Seas by Royal Caribbean was delayed arriving into Sitka due to a medical emergency on board the day before. So, now what? Excursions were cancelled for so many guests, but since we are rolling solo on a budget we were able to salvage some of our day! Unfortunately we had to skip one of the bigger plans I'd made (Fortress of the Bear) but we managed to make the most of 4 SHORT hours in Sitka, Alaska. We visited the Alaska Raptor Rehabilitation Center, Totem Trail, Sikta Historic Park, and enjoyed downtown Sitka.
