TRAVEL ALERT: 5 Cruise Packing Mistakes I Wish I Knew Before My First Cruise
I thought I was a pro at packing until I actually stepped on a cruise ship. It turns out, cruise packing has its own set of rules—and breaking them can make your embarkation day a nightmare. In this guide, I’m sharing the most critical packing mistakes I made so you don't have to. There are specific items that seem like common sense but will actually get your luggage flagged by security, and one major "essential" that most people leave at home entirely. The "Carry-on Trap": Why your most important items shouldn't be in your checked bags. The Security "Naughty Room": Items that are perfectly fine for a flight but banned on a ship. The Stateroom Surprise: Why your cabin might require a different packing strategy than a hotel. The "Just in Case" Mistake: How over-preparing for the wrong things ruins your storage space. What is the one thing you always pack that other people think is crazy? Tell me in the comments!
