Come with us to Great Bay Beach in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten! We took a water taxi right from the cruise port to Great Bay Beach & Boardwalk which made for a fantastic beach day here in St. Maarten! We rented beach chairs and umbrellas from Blue Caribbean Restaurant & Bar (excellent service, food, and drinks!) This beach is very close to the cruise port - about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the water taxi. The water taxi is $7 per person - round trip! We rented beach chairs and an umbrella (2 chars + 1 umbrella) for $25 Food and drinks are available all over the boardwalk right there at the beach! We highly recommend this budget-friendly, but nothing short of amazing and fun beach day in Philipsburg Sint Maarten.
