P&O Cruise Ep. 4 | Shore days in Cairns: Cruise Port Adventure and Local Highlights🌴

Our cruise brought us to beautiful Cairns, Queensland—an unexpected stop that turned into a memorable adventure! 🌴🚢 Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side on the first day, with rain keeping us from exploring too far. We made the most of it by strolling around the cruise port, soaking up the atmosphere, and taking in the waterfront views. The sunshine returned the next day, giving us the perfect opportunity to discover more of Cairns. We visited the amazing Cairns Aquarium, where we got up close with incredible marine life unique to Tropical North Queensland, before cooling off and relaxing at the iconic Esplanade Lagoon. Even though Cairns wasn’t part of our original itinerary, we’re so glad we had the chance to experience this vibrant tropical city.
