Inside the World’s Newest Luxury Cruise Ship

Some of you might think that we’re becoming cruisers. And you might be right. But before you write that idea off for yourself…watch this one: We bring you aboard EXPLORA III for its exclusive Prelude Journey: a one-time preview sailing through the French and Italian Rivieras. Hanging with Jannik Sinner after his recent Wimbledon win (2x). Seeking out the best hotel bar on the French Riviera. And touring some of the most stand-out spaces on the newest luxury cruise ship to hit the water. Explora Journeys is the luxury lifestyle brand of the MSC Group. And this newest ship offers 461 oceanfront suites…every one of them with private terraces facing the water. Seven restaurants, 13 bars and lounges, and reimagined wellness spaces. The five-night Prelude sailed from Genoa to Rome, calling at Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Livorno, and Civitavecchia, before the ship's official naming ceremony in Barcelona. Our theory has always been that people who say they don’t like cruising probably just haven’t been on the right ship. This was a pretty good test of that theory.
