DAY 96 / 133 ⚓️ Nagasaki City, Japan Nagasaki I'd say this port was one that I was most looking forward to & it did not disappoint. I'd been mentally preparing for it for days & it blew me away. The start of the day was heavy with the Atomic Bomb Museum, hypocenter, & peace park (history professor's daughter - I had too) but witnessing & experiencing the overwhelming vibe of PEACE & calm throughout the city was overwhelming. ☮️ What an amazing example of community, healing, & rebirth. 🫶 10:00 AM - breakfast/morning views 10:45 AM - hop off ship 10:48 AM - whats lefts of CHERRY BLOSSOMS!! 🌸🌸🌸 11:00 AM - local public transit 11:30-12:45 PM - Atomic Bomb Museum 1:00 PM - cranes 1:15-1:27 PM - walk through park & gardens 1:32 PM - hypocenter 1:42-1:50 PM - Peace Park 2:40 PM - game while waiting for food 2:45 PM - local 'diner food' 2:50 PM - lemonade 3:45-4:05 PM - matcha quest (my favorite cup) 4:30-5:15 PM - Suwa Shrine/fish whisperer 6:00 PM - back to ship 8:13 PM - off to Ocean Bar set I 9:15 PM - Ocean Bar set II 10:15 PM - Ocean Bar set III ft. @mau. 11:30 PM - Nagasaki skyline views 11:45 PM - post late night 12:00 AM - walk into town 12:30 AM - hole in the wall bar 1:50 PM - walk back to ship 2:00 AM - dropping off ivan at hotel 2:30 AM - back home @hollandamericaline #worldcruise #singer #nagasaki #japan #travel day in nagasaki japan working as cruise ship singer
