#AIDAnova is the first ship of the new Helios Class and was put into service in December 2018. The 337-metre long cruise ship was built by the Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. There are 2,500 guest staterooms and 20 decks. AIDA Cruises started a Green Cruising Concept. For the first time in the world a cruise ship can be powered with environmentally friendly liquefied natural gas completely. The innovations regarding the entertainment, restaurants and bars are on a higher level in comparison to the other ships of the fleet. Since 1996 the fleet of AIDA Cruises discovers the world. In Germany the cruise line is very successful with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There are no seating times and your formal clothes can be kept at home. AIDA Cruises proves itself with diverse buffets, a great sports area and a varied entertainment programme. The age structure on board is mixed and depends on the destination as well.
