After docking with our Icon Class cruise ship, Legend of the Seas, we head out into the gorgeous Italian countryside to explore regions beyond the busy city centre. Our day trip takes us to the stunning shores of Lake Bracciano, where we take in breathtaking scenic views and charming medieval atmospheres. Next, we head to Osteria dell'Elefante for an immersive wine tour and tasting experience. Nestled in a historic estate, we learned about authentic local winemaking traditions while sampling delicious wines paired with fresh local ingredients—a must-do excursion when docking at the Civitavecchia cruise port! After an incredible day on land, we head back on board the ship to indulge in some of Royal Caribbean’s top dining spots. For a quick and delicious lunch, we grabbed tacos and burritos at El Loco Fresh. Later in the evening, we treated ourselves to an amazing specialty dining dinner at Izumi Hibachi, filled with great food, lively cooking displays, and fantastic flavors.
