Hantavirus-Hit Cruise Ship Seen From Cape Verde Local's Window

The patients were on their way to receive medical care in the Netherlands, the WHO’s Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said. According to the ship’s operator, Oceanwide Expeditions, two of the passengers presented with acute symptoms. The third was “closely associated” with a passenger who died aboard the ship on May 2, the company said. The ship was anchored off the coast of Praia, Cape Verde.
