Carnival Splendor Double Tragedy: Overboard & Snorkeling Death
Grim news from the high seas. Carnival Splendor has reported a double tragedy this past weekend: a passenger went overboard and a separate snorkeling accident tragically claimed one life. A man was reported missing off the Brisbane coast around two AM Friday after going overboard from the Carnival Splendor. The ship was on a voyage from Sydney. In a separate and equally tragic incident during the same cruise, one woman died following a snorkeling excursion. Authorities have since launched a major search operation for the missing passenger. These incidents underscore the importance of passenger safety and vigilance while at sea and during shore excursions. Our thoughts are with those affected by these grave events.
