Amazing marine life we see here in Ka'anapali Maui! ❤️ Sea Turtles, Eagle Rays & more! #hawaii
Marine life in Ka'anapali is some of the best you'll find in West Maui, with over 20 years of snorkeling these waters we've seen everything from spotted eagle rays near Black Rock to Hawaiian green sea turtles feeding on algae, and even the occasional Hawaiian monk seal resting on the beach, which is always special with only about 1,600 left in the wild; reef sharks, most commonly whitetip reef sharks, are sometimes spotted cruising along the bottom, and on the north end at Airport Beach, also known as Kahekili Beach Park, you'll find healthy coral formations, plenty of reef fish, and consistent marine life sightings, just remember to use reef safe mineral sunscreen, wear a UV shirt, and always give protected species plenty of space. No marine life video would be complete without mentioning the humpback whales! You can hear them underwater during peak whale season which is always incredible. Mahalo for watching! #kaanapali #maui
