The Old Mill #Toronto. Is it Haunted? #6ixbuzz #haunted #horrorstories
The Old Mill Toronto, a premiere event venue, known today for weddings, events, live jazz, and afternoon tea… but this place goes way back. Founded in 1793, it started with timber, grain, and hard labour. Fires destroyed parts of it, rebuilding happened, and eventually the mill’s purpose faded… but the stories didn’t. But is it haunted? Sightings of phantom children running the hall, a lady in red with long black hair and hearing footsteps pacing above them, when no one else is inside. One employee claimed doors would slowly open on their own during closing shifts. Guests have described waking in the night to the feeling of being watched… My husband and I were here tonight and after the event we wandered the empty halls. There were nooks and crannies EVERYWHERE. You can definitely feel an energy as if you weren’t alone. I decided to check this staircase that led to nowhere and decided to quickly leave. We were met by a security guard who thought he had heard a something suspicious. But it was just us. He told us of his 3:00 am tales where random noises would sound and eventually he had to learn to “co-exist” and of course my husbands like “oh that’s juts because the building is old and creaky” meanwhile I’m like Have you been to the old mill?
