Carnival has revealed when Christmas decorations go up across all 29 ships for the 2026 holiday season, starting with Carnival Encounter in Brisbane on November 22nd, with festive setups staying up through New Year’s Eve cruises. Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its newest ship, Norwegian Bella, the sixth and final Prima Class vessel arriving in May 2028 with Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona, Ocean Boulevard, waterslides, and the luxury Haven suites. And a Royal Caribbean guest was airlifted from Odyssey of the Seas in a challenging rescue in the Ionian Sea, with the Italian Coast Guard battling strong winds and high waves to lift a seriously ill passenger to hospital.
