You book, you pick your perks, and everything sounds included. In reality, the word "free" is doing a lot of work here. Several perks carry mandatory gratuities that get added to your booking before you ever step onboard, and those charges add up fast on a 7 night sailing for two adults. 🍹 WHAT'S ACTUALLY INCLUDED We cover the full perk lineup on most 2 night and longer sailings, including the unlimited open bar, specialty dining credits, WiFi minutes, shore excursion credits, and the 3rd and 4th guest sail free offer. We also explain the rules that catch first time Norwegian cruisers off guard, like everyone in the stateroom choosing the same perks. 💵 WHAT FREE AT SEA REALLY COSTS IN 2026 Using a 7 night cruise for two adults, we run the numbers on the beverage package gratuity, the specialty dining gratuity, and the total you owe before your base cruise fare. The final figure surprises most people, and it is the single biggest reason cruisers feel misled by the word "free." 🍽️ THE DINING PERK, HONESTLY REVIEWED Norwegian includes plenty of complimentary dining, so we explain when the specialty dining credits are a real win and when you might not need them at all, depending on your ship and class. 🚢 THE PERKS THAT ARE WEAKER THAN THEY SOUND The shore excursion credit works differently than most cruisers expect, and the included WiFi minutes come with real limits. We explain what each one covers, what it does not, and how to avoid overpaying for upgrades onboard. ⚖️ FREE AT SEA VS FREE AT SEA PLUS We compare the standard promotion against the upgraded version, including what the Plus tier adds, what it no longer includes, and which type of cruiser actually comes out ahead. 📊 HOW IT STACKS UP AGAINST OTHER CRUISE LINES Norwegian is not the only line bundling perks. We compare the per person, per day cost against Celebrity All Included, Princess Plus, and Princess Premier, then look at how it measures up to booking a la carte on Royal Caribbean and Carnival. ✅ IS NCL FREE AT SEA WORTH IT? By the end, you will know exactly which cruisers save real money with Free at Sea, which ones would be better off skipping the bundle, and how to pick perks so you get the most value from your Norwegian Cruise Line booking. 0:00 Is NCL Free at Sea REALLY Worth it in 2026 0:25 What Does Norwegian Free at Sea Include 1:00 The True Cost of Free at Sea 2026 1:49 NCL's The Unlimited Open Bar 2:41 Norwegian Free atSea Specialty Dining g gratuities 3:11 Shore Excursion Credit 3:36 Free Wi Fi Minutes 5:23 What’s Included in the NCL Open Bar 7:14 What’s Covered in Specialty Dining Credit 9:25 Shore Excursion Credit Realities 10:44 What You Actually Can Do With WiFi 11:57 Norwegian Free at Sea Plus 14:21 How Free at Sea Compared to Other Cruise Line Bundles: 20:25 NCL Vs Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruises #NCLFreeAtSea #FreeAtSea #NorwegianCruiseLine #NCL #CruiseTips #FreeAtSea2026 #CruisePlanning #NorwegianCruise #CruiseAdvice #MoreAtSea #CruiseDeals #CruiseTravel ---- TRENDING VIDEOS FROM EAT SLEEP CRUISE------ Royal Caribbean vs Norwegian Cruise Line: https://youtu.be/KfM4z0BEf3Q We Tested the New Norwegian Aqua: https://youtu.be/WlZ7TKApq1Y Best Cruises for Couples: https://youtu.be/fenNj5GmLdM Join us on Social Media as we “Sea the World, One Port at a Time.” Instagram: https://instagram.com/EatSleepCruise Facebook: https://facebook.com/EatSleepCruise Twitter: https://twitter.com/EatSleepCruise TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@eatsleepcruise Pinterest: https://pinterest.com/EatSleepCruise Question – Which cruise line are you sailing on in 2026?
