A Better Cruise Starts Before You Board. Before I step aboard the brand-new Explora III for my October 25–November 1, 2026, voyage, I am doing the research, planning and due diligence necessary to understand exactly what has changed, what has improved and most importantly, why those changes matter to us as guests. In this first video of my three-part Explora III series, I look at how Explora Journeys has taken guest feedback from Explora I and Explora II and incorporated it into the evolution of Explora III, including more guest space and shade, reimagined pool areas, new dining and wine experiences, improved restaurant reservations, updated suites, wellness enhancements, private meeting facilities and much more. But knowing what has changed is only the beginning. I will also show you how that knowledge becomes part of my own pre-cruise strategy for making a voyage more organized, efficient and stress-free. This includes showing you the tools I use for planning and a strategy on packing as well as Luggage. As an unpaid, unbiased paying guest, my goal is not to tell you how you should cruise. It is to do the due diligence, share what I learn, establish realistic expectations and give you practical information so you can make better decisions for your own Explora Journeys experience.
