CRUISE NEWS! Princess Cruise Prices Jump! Plus Sad News Aboard Island Princess | Cruise Date 24
Princess Cruises pricing has been changing very quickly for our newly announced 64-day Coral Princess voyage in 2029, and I have an important update for everyone who is interested in joining our Let's Go! Family group! Hi there! This is Allison with Let's Go! Travel Tips! Today is Thursday, October 29, 2026, Cruise Date 24 of our 50-day Grand Mediterranean Odyssey aboard Island Princess. We spent today in beautiful Santorini, Greece, and I have several updates to share with you. First, our January 4–March 9, 2029, Coral Princess group cruise is attracting tremendous interest. We've seen the published fares increase significantly since bookings opened, and I'm very grateful that we were able to secure group pricing for some stateroom categories. If you're interested in joining us, please email me and tell me what kind of stateroom you would prefer — interior, oceanview, balcony or mini-suite — and whether you have a preferred location on the ship. That helps me give you useful information rather than guessing which options might suit you. Group pricing and availability are subject to change. I also have some very sad news to share. A passenger reportedly passed away aboard Island Princess while we were visiting Crete. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time. We're also talking about demonstrations in Barcelona and Athens and why it's especially important to allow plenty of time to return to your cruise ship when exploring independently. And finally, what a wonderful day we had in Santorini! It was noticeably quieter than our previous visits, with just two cruise ships in port and many seasonal businesses preparing to close. We enjoyed the magnificent caldera views, a delicious Greek lunch, gelato, and simply taking time to enjoy one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. I'm also sharing tips about the Santorini water shuttles, the cable car, visiting Fira and Oia, and choosing between exploring independently and booking a shore excursion. Thank you so much for joining us and being part of our Let's Go! Family. We appreciate you more than you know! God bless you all, and take good care!
