We Stay 72 Hours In The Most Isolated City On Earth ..... And It's Not Where You Think !
Is Perth really the most isolated city in the world? We decided to find out for ourselves. In this episode, we spend a few days exploring Western Australia’s capital — from the incredible beaches of Cottesloe, to Fremantle, the Perth CBD and a day trip across to Rottnest Island. And of course… the quokkas. Lots of quokkas. We ride bikes around Rottnest, discover why these ridiculously photogenic little animals have become one of Australia’s most famous wildlife experiences, check out some of Perth’s best food and coastal scenery, and experience an Aussie Rules game at Optus Stadium. Perth is more than 2,000km from Adelaide and thousands of kilometres from almost everything else — but does that isolation make it feel remote… or make it even more special? By the end of the trip, we realised that while Perth itself is pretty spectacular, sometimes the best part of travelling isn’t the destination at all — it’s the people you get to experience it with.
