I’m here to tell you that you can start something new at any age! In this video, I share my personal journey of starting my own YouTube channel and social media accounts in my 40s, while continuing to work full-time on cruise ships. I’ve worked on cruise ships for more than 25 years, sometimes up to 14 hours a day. Yet, in my free time, I started building something of my own — and today, I’ve grown an audience of more than 350,000 followers across social media platforms. I’m not sharing this to promise overnight success. Every creator’s journey is different. I’m sharing it to show you that you don’t need to quit your job, buy expensive equipment, or have everything figured out before you begin. My message is simple: Keep your job, start small, use the time you have, and improve one video at a time. You don’t have to become famous. You don’t have to change your whole life tomorrow.
