6 MESI DOPO... FINE PRIMO CONTRATTO
Lavorare in crociera tra i fiordi norvegesi ti cambia per sempre, ma arrivare all'ultimo capitolo a bordo e dover salutare un team eccezionale è stata forse l'emozione più forte di tutto questo lungo viaggio in Norvegia. Sono passati ben sei mesi da quando ho iniziato questa avventura e, guardandomi indietro, vedo chiaramente quanto le mie skill ai tavoli da casinò siano migliorate rispetto al primo giorno. È stata un'esperienza incredibilmente intensa: i turni finivano spesso molto tardi e il tempo libero scarseggiava, eppure, nonostante la grande stanchezza, siamo riusciti a divertirci davvero tanto. Il merito è tutto del nostro manager, che è riuscito magicamente a unire il gruppo creando un team compatto, sereno ed eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista. Oltre allo splendido lavoro di squadra, queste ultime settimane mi hanno regalato una delle esperienze più belle e inaspettate di tutta la stagione. Ho avuto la fortuna enorme di poter supportare il dipartimento MyTours, uscendo dalla nave per scortare direttamente i passeggeri. Ho vissuto una fantastica escursione a Geiranger e una memorabile escursione a Bergen, entrambe in giornate baciate da un sole magnifico, evento rarissimo da queste parti! Esplorare i fiordi norvegesi accompagnando i clienti tra queste bellezze, sentendomi parte integrante dell'esperienza dei passeggeri, ha reso questo traguardo finale assolutamente perfetto. Salutare tutti i colleghi e chiudere questo capitolo di vita da croupier è stato un momento che non dimenticherò mai, pieno di lacrime, abbracci e sorrisi. Working long, grueling shifts late into the night meant we had barely any free time, yet this team found a way to make every single day hilarious and deeply memorable. Our phenomenal casino manager managed to build an unbreakable team spirit, turning colleagues into a genuine family. The technical growth I've experienced at the gaming tables over these past months is massive, but the human connections are what truly define this cruise ship job. To top off this beautiful finale, I got the rare and incredibly lucky opportunity to step outside the casino and assist the MyTours department by escorting guests on shore. I experienced a breathtaking geiranger hike and an unforgettable bergen norway excursion, both blessed with incredibly rare, brilliant sunshine. Guiding passengers through these majestic landscapes under a perfectly clear blue sky was the absolute best way to wrap up my time on board. Saying farewell to everyone and leaving the ship was incredibly tough, but the memories of this untamed norwegian nature and this amazing team will last a lifetime.
