If you love to travel, you can actually make money doing it, and no, I don't mean becoming an influencer. I mean becoming a travel agent, which sounds way more official than it is. Every cruise you've booked had a commission baked into the price. Book it yourself online and the cruise line keeps it. Book it as a travel agent and that money comes back to you, even on your own cruises. I cruise every four to six weeks, and every one of those pays me a little something after I get home. Then there's the fun stuff: agent rates on certain sailings, the occasional friends and family rate, and ship tours. Straight talk, though. You get paid after the trip, not when you book, and there's real time involved in learning the job.
