This Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas review and ship tour from Brisbane Australia to the South Pacific. See the deck plan, including balcony cabin, specialty dining, kids club and drink packages. Filmed in POV on this South Pacific cruise, this a Royal Caribbean review with kids. Quantum of the Seas is a Quantum Class cruise ship, 168,666 gross tonnes across sixteen decks, and my family sailed her out of Brisbane. I share every pro and con so you can decide if this Royal Caribbean cruise is right for you. My Quantum of the Seas ship tour walks the entire deck plan top to bottom. I cover the layout and how to get around, from the midship and forward lifts and their wait times to the stairs, and the running track that laps roughly seven hundred and fifty steps. If you want to understand the flow before you board, this is the cruise walkthrough for you. Staterooms get real attention. I review a Royal Caribbean balcony cabin on deck twelve with an adjoining room for the kids, covering storage, the safe, fridge, desk, power points and USB-A ports. I also step inside an interior room with its virtual balcony screen. Up top I spend time in the Solarium, the adults-only retreat for guests sixteen and over, with its glass-roofed pool, cold plunges, spas and front-facing views. I film the main indoor-outdoor pool deck and hot tubs under its retractable glass roof, plus North Star, FlowRider, iFly and the SeaPlex sports complex. This includes dodgem cars, laser tag, arcade machines, basketball, roller skating, table tennis and more. Families are well served on Quantum of the Seas, so I visit the Adventure Ocean kids club. This is a review for kids as much as it is for parents and I am blunt about the casino, the queues at guest services and where the crowds gather. Especially the entertainment offering in the Royal Theater and in Two70. Dining is a big part of any cruise, so I run a full Quantum of the Seas food tour. I eat across the specialty restaurants and rate the paid restaurants at Chops Grille, Izumi, Jamie's Italian and Wonderland, then cover the Windjammer buffet breakfast, the Main Dining Hall and casual spots like Sorrento's Pizza and the Two70 cafe. This food review is honest about what is worth paying extra for. We also look at bars, like the Harp & Horn English Pub. I break down the Royal Caribbean drink packages and whether they pay off, then talk through the route itself. This Quantum of the Seas Brisbane sailing calls at Port Vila and Mystery Island in Vanuatu and Noumea in New Caledonia, and I share how those days worked with children in tow. Wonder and Odyssey and Odyssey of the Seas are my reference points from larger, more recent classes. That comparison is the honest bit most Quantum of the Seas reviews skip.
