Looking for the best things to do in Aachen, Germany in one day? 🇩🇪 We took the train from Roermond, Netherlands to Aachen for an easy day trip and discovered a fascinating German city filled with history, beautiful architecture, great food, and plenty of places to simply slow down and enjoy the atmosphere. In this video, we share 8 things to see, eat, and do in Aachen that can easily fit into a day-trip itinerary. We explore the incredible Aachen Cathedral, visit the historic Aachen Rathaus, stop by the famous Elisenbrunnen, and walk along the remains of Aachen's old city walls and gates. Of course, we couldn't visit Germany without trying some local food! We enjoy a traditional German meal at Aachener Brauhaus, stop for coffee and some people watching, and try Aachener Printen, the city's famous local cookie.
