They cancelled my *Once in a Lifetime* trip — but the views were still insane!
I planned for months, paid hundreds of dollars, and traveled to Zermatt, Switzerland for one thing — a seat on the iconic Glacier Express. Then they cancelled it. The Glacier Express Train in Switzerland is one of the world's most famous scenic train journeys, connecting Zermatt to St. Moritz through the breathtaking Swiss Alps. Seats sell out months in advance, getting to Zermatt isn't cheap, and this was supposed to be a bucket list experience. So when a last-minute technical failure cancelled the entire train with no warning, I was absolutely devastated. What happened next? We all got shuffled into a substitute train — same route, none of the experience I paid for. No panoramic windows, no luxury service, nothing. But despite the devastating circumstances, the scenery outside was absolutely stunning. I spent 8 hours filming the most gorgeous alpine landscapes, snowy mountains, and dramatic valleys you've ever seen.
