✨Our Ideal Family Day at Magic Kingdom ✨ Big Thunder Mountain + Buzz Lightyear + Family Memories
📸 Today we’re making magical family memories at the Magic Kingdom — but will the weather cooperate? Join our family as we navigate an unpredictable Florida forecast without losing the Disney magic! 📸 ☀️ We kicked things off with our second ride on Big Thunder Mountain since its reopening, this time enjoying it in beautiful daylight. From there, we made sure to catch one more spin on Carousel of Progress before it closes for refurbishment, followed by plenty of laughs at Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor. We were also excited to experience Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin for the first time since it reopened with brand new ride vehicles and updated equipment. ⛈️ As the skies darkened, we found refuge in Pinocchio Village Haus, where we spent a cozy hour waiting out a passing storm. Once the weather cleared, we headed into Haunted Mansion for some family-friendly spooky fun. Unfortunately, the thunderstorms had other plans for us, forcing us to cancel our Lightning Lane reservation for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. We wrapped up our rainy day back at Port Orleans Riverside with a peaceful walk back to Alligator Bayou in the rain. The perfect ending to our day came when we discovered a charming surprise waiting for us in our room, courtesy of some wonderfully creative housekeeping.
