We set sail into St. Thomas aboard Enchanted Princess and headed straight for St. John via the Princess "St. John's on Your Own" excursion. The ferry ride over was surprisingly comfortable — air conditioned and exhaust-free, which we appreciated after our Mexico experience. Once in Cruz Bay, we grabbed a taxi to Maho Beach for a swim, though it was noticeably more crowded than when we visited as land-based travelers. We explored the food trucks and vendors before making our way back to Cruz Bay with a little extra time to spare. We popped into some shops and strolled down to the Beach Bar, which did not disappoint. Back in St. Thomas, we made a stop at the Rum Hut for painkillers and bushwackers before reboarding the ship. We wrapped the day with lunch, a gorgeous sunset, and Voice of the Ocean tryouts on board.
