We spent time comparing the Premium and standard wristbands to find out whether upgrading actually makes a difference at this massive all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Most of our group paid extra for Premium, while others stuck with the standard experience. So what do you really get for the money? We ran into restaurant reservation problems, dealt with the resort's confusing systems, and experienced a few unexpected moments along the way. We also had a tequila-fueled day that may have gone off the rails a bit.
