Cruise Things We Thought Were a Waste of Money (Until We Tried Them!)
When we first started cruising, we thought spending extra money on a cruise was crazy! 😳 Why pay for something when there’s already so much included? But after trying more cruise experiences, we’ve definitely changed our minds about some of them… but NOT all of them! In this video, we're breaking down the cruise things we once thought were a waste of money and telling you which ones we now think are actually worth paying for—and which ones we’d still skip. We’re talking about specialty dining, balcony cabins, cruise excursions, drink packages, Wi-Fi, private beach clubs, specialty coffee, and upgraded cruise experiences. Some completely changed our minds. Others are still a hard pass. And one of them actually saved us when our flight home was cancelled! ✈️ The biggest lesson? You don't have to buy everything the cruise line offers. The best cruise extras are the ones that actually make YOUR vacation better. ☕ Support the channel here: buymeacoffee.com/SeaTrippinKimandScott ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Things We Thought Were a Waste of Money 01:18 Specialty Dining — Worth It? 03:00 Balcony Cabins — Do You Really Need One? 04:50 Cruise Excursions — Worth the Money? 07:00 Drink Packages — Do the Math! 08:33 Cruise Wi-Fi — We Changed Our Minds 09:32 Private Beach Clubs — Worth Paying For? 10:50 The Little Extras That Add Up 12:19 What We've Learned About Cruise Spending 12:47 What Do YOU Think Is a Waste of Money? 💬 QUESTION FOR YOU: What's something you used to think was a complete waste of money on a cruise, but eventually tried and loved?
