CRUISING 101: Don't Book That Cabin!
Welcome to Cruising 101, a brand-new series from Passports2Places designed to help you cruise smarter, avoid costly mistakes, and get more out of every cruise vacation. Choosing a cruise cabin looks easy — until you actually see how many choices you're faced with. And here's the problem: the cabin that looks like a great deal online may not be the cabin you'd want once you step onboard. The difference between a fantastic cruise cabin and a frustrating one can come down to things most people never think about until it's too late. Where is it located? What's above it? What's below it? What does that "obstructed view" really mean? Is that upgrade actually an upgrade? And why can two cabins in the same category be completely different experiences? In this episode, we're taking the guesswork out of choosing a cruise cabin and showing you how experienced cruisers approach the decision. Whether you're booking your first cruise, looking for the perfect balcony cabin, or simply trying to get the most value for your money, these tips could save you from making a very expensive mistake. And stay until the end — because I'll show you why paying more for a higher cabin category doesn't always mean you're getting a better cabin. 🎓 This is Cruising 101 — Episode 1. We'll be covering everything from cruise ships and cabin selection to dining, shore excursions, cruise costs, upgrades, gratuities, and the things cruise lines don't always explain. 👉 Have you ever stayed in a cruise cabin you absolutely loved — or one you couldn't wait to get out of?
