Celebrity Shore Excursion Small Group: Flavors of the Bay. We were on the Solstice anchored and tendering in at Bay of Islands, New Zealand for the day and did this half-day excursion mid day. There were a total of 12 of us plus the driver/tour guide. The small sprinter van was very comfortable and the guide was great. We visited a chocolate store, a fruit farm, honey store, farmer’s market, local clothing store and a winery finished by a couple of scenic stops including a waterfall. All the stops were great and about the right time (some excursions waste time with excessive waits but not here - was perfect). Overall would highly recommend - this stop in New Zealand has been the best we’ve had on this trip. The locals were all super friendly and we’d be happy to spend more time here. We are on 18 nights Treasures of Tahiti and Fiji cruise that started in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 29th and ends in Auckland, New Zealand on October 18th. #celebritycruises #bayofislands #newzealand #shoreexcursion
