La Paz Was STUNNING! | Hike, Beach & Our Best Day Yet 🌴 | Day 4

After the chaos in Cabo, La Paz gave us exactly what we needed… sunshine, stunning views, and one incredible excursion. Today we arrived in La Paz, Mexico on our 7-Day Baja Peninsula cruise aboard Holland America’s Zaandam. After a rough day in Cabo, we were really hoping for a reset… and La Paz delivered. This port is very different from the others. The city itself is about 45 minutes from the cruise port, so unless you book an excursion or shuttle into town, you’re not just stepping off the ship and walking around. We chose a hike and beach excursion, and it ended up being one of our favourite experiences of the entire cruise. Beautiful desert scenery, incredible coastal views, crystal-clear water, and an overall peaceful vibe. This felt like the Baja we were hoping to experience. Back onboard, the day somehow got even better with a thoughtful surprise waiting in our stateroom, a relaxing evening, and a totally unexpected Celine Dion tribute show that Steph may or may not have loved just a little too much. Safe to say… Day 4 was a good one.
