Exploring Santiago: From Cruise Port to City Sights in One Day
We started our journey at the San Antonio port after disembarking the Oosterdam and headed straight to Santiago with a private transfer. After checking in at Hotel Plaza San Francisco, we explored the city’s highlights — Palacio de La Moneda, the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino with its incredible ancient artefacts, and the lively Plaza de Armas. A quick visit to Cerro Santa Lucía gave us a glimpse of Terraza Neptuno, but the heat (and witnessing a necklace snatching) reminded us to stay cautious in this vibrant, unfamiliar city. We wrapped up the day cooling off back at the hotel.
