5 things people get dead wrong about Margaritaville at Sea
5 things people get dead wrong about Margaritaville at Sea. Before I sailed Islander, I believed a couple of these myself. 1. The fuel surcharge. It's only charged on Paradise, the oldest ship in the fleet. Not on Islander or the upcoming Beachcomber. 2. The ships are worn out. Islander's retrofit redid every stateroom, and our bedding was super comfy. 3. The food is bad. The buffet is basic and on the smaller side, but the quick-serve spots shine: build-your-own tacos, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and pizza until 2 a.m., all complimentary and quite good. 4. It's just a party boat for Parrotheads. I'm not a drinker or a Parrothead, and it was one of the most relaxing cruises I've ever taken. 5. It's the low-budget option. It's some of the best bang for your buck you'll find, but there's nothing low budget about this cruise line. Go in with an open mind, tune out a lot of the online chatter, and you might step off on debarkation day surprised by how much you liked it. Would you give Margaritaville at Sea a try, or is it still a hard pass for you? #cruisetok #cruiselife #cruise #cruisetips #margaritavilleatsea #cruiseship
