Pacific Pearl Naming Ceremony Auckland, New Zealand
Let's Party! High above the top deck, Godmother Barbara Kendall, officially named Pacific Pearl at a spectacular ceremony in Auckland last night. Followed by fireworks and a great celebration, Pacific Pearl officially made Auckland her new home as New Zealand's first superliner. There was also a big success with the on board auction of a Pacific Pearl cruise to contribute to an appeal for the children of miners lost in the recent Pike River Mine disaster.
