Ad | Svalbard Expedition Cruise Day 8 🇳🇴 The final day of our Svalbard expedition cruise on board National Geographic Resolution, and sadly it was time to say goodbye to the ship. In this final vlog of the series, come along for disembarkation day in Longyearbyen and see what happens after you leave the ship when travelling with National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions. Our luggage was taken ahead to the airport while we spent the day exploring Svalbard, visiting the North Pole Expedition Museum, stopping at the famous polar bear road sign and travelling out into Adventdalen to Camp Barentz. At Camp Barentz we learnt more about the history of Arctic exploration and met some of the wonderful dogs from Green Dog Svalbard, before heading to Huset Restaurant for a four course farewell lunch. I also show you the journey back to Oslo on the charter flight and the final overnight stay at the Radisson Blu Oslo Airport, which was arranged for the whole ship. It was a remarkably seamless end to an unforgettable Arctic expedition and a fitting final chapter to this Svalbard vlog series. If you are researching a Svalbard expedition cruise or wondering what disembarkation day with National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions is actually like, this vlog gives you an honest, first hand look at the experience from leaving the ship to arriving back in Oslo. Thank you so much for following this Svalbard expedition series. There is plenty more cruise and expedition content coming, so subscribe to follow along. 📍 Longyearbyen, Svalbard 🚢 National Geographic Resolution 🧭 Lindblad Expeditions 🗺️ Svalbard, In Search of Iconic Arctic Wildlife Instagram: @nocruisecontrol85 TikTok: @nocruisecontrol Blog: nocruisecontrol.com #Svalbard #ExpeditionCruise #Longyearbyen #NatGeoResolution #NoCruiseContro
