Hello Cruisers, 3 days into my new contract as Assistant Shore Manager in Norway and I got medically debarked. Woke up with stomach pain, thought it was nothing… next thing I know I’m in a wheelchair being pushed off the ship and into an ambulance. Turns out it was appendicitis. Had surgery that same night at a hospital in Norway that honestly blew my mind. Still sore and tired, but I’m fighting to get back on the ship tomorrow (8/4/2026 ).
