Carnival Legend: The Ship Replacing Firenze at Long Beach

Carnival Legend is coming to Long Beach in October 2027 with Carnival's first ever program dedicated to Hawaii: ten 14-day cruises to Honolulu, Maui, Kauai, Hilo and Kona. Here's what the Carnival Legend is, what a 14-day cruise from Long Beach actually means, and who should book it (and who should wait). The Firenze leaves Long Beach in January 2027, and the Legend arrives in October 2027 for a six month season of 14-day Hawaii cruises plus 6 and 8 day Mexican Riviera sailings, nearly double the Hawaii sailings the Radiance runs from Long Beach today. She's a Spirit class ship with a retractable roof over the Lido, about half the size of the Panorama, and she's never sailed from this port before. If you've been waiting for Hawaii without a flight, this is the one to watch before you book.
