Sailing to STARI GRAD and visiting HVAR | MV Felicita Day 5
Day 5 on board MV Felicita takes us to the beautiful island of Hvar! 🇭🇷☀️ We started the day with a refreshing swim stop before arriving into the stunning port of Stari Grad, where we took the bus across the island to Hvar Town for a guided tour and some free time to explore. Hvar has some fascinating history, Stari Grad was founded by the Ancient Greeks in 384 BC, making it one of the oldest towns in Europe, while the nearby Stari Grad Plain has remained largely unchanged for more than 2,400 years and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After our tour, we went our separate ways for some free time… one of us went up to a fortress while the other went shopping and found somewhere for cocktails! 🍹 Can you guess who did which? 😂 That evening, we headed ashore in Stari Grad for a fantastic meal at a lovely local restaurant, recommended by our cruise director Rob.
