Every major new cruise ship debuting in 2026 — ranked from worst to best. 2026 is bringing an incredibly diverse class of new cruise ships, ranging from intimate expedition vessels and ultra-luxury yachts to enormous floating resorts carrying thousands of passengers. In this video, we rank the major new ocean-going cruise ships entering service in 2026 based primarily on the experience passengers can actually expect onboard. This ranking looks beyond ship size. We compare accommodations, dining, entertainment, activities, outdoor spaces, service environment, crowding, destination experience, and the overall variety of ways passengers can enjoy their vacation. Ships featured include Legend of the Seas, MSC World Asia, Norwegian Luna, Disney Adventure, Seven Seas Prestige, Explora III, Four Seasons I, Orient Express Corinthian, Mein Schiff Flow, Emerald Kaia, Magellan Discoverer, Viking Libra, Viking Mira, and Adora Flora City. IMPORTANT: This ranking is different from our other cruise ship ranking videos. This video is specifically focused on ships making their debut or entering service in 2026. Our other ranking videos may compare ships based on completely different themes, categories, features, years, or aspects of the cruise experience. So the position of a ship in another video should not be directly compared with its position here — this ranking is exclusively about the new-ship class of 2026 and the overall passenger experience each one offers. From small destination-focused ships carrying around one hundred guests to huge next-generation vessels such as MSC World Asia and Royal Caribbean's Legend of the Seas, these ships represent very different ideas of what a modern cruise vacation can be.
