Thanks to a chance tip from a fellow cruise passenger, we found ourselves navigating to the serene Kuwabara district to discover the breathtaking Seiryu-ji Temple. Join us as we explore the grounds framed by stunning cherry blossoms and stand in awe before the Showa Big Buddha—the largest seated bronze Buddha in Japan. We even head inside the massive statue to uncover its rich religious history and the intricate, peaceful memorial space hidden above.
