Priory Bay, Baby! | Boating on The Solent from the River Hamble | Gary Goes Boating.
Welcome to Gary Goes Boating! ⚓️ Join me aboard Care Free for a fantastic day out on the water as we leave the marina and cruise down the beautiful River Hamble, heading into The Solent. Our first stop is the stunning Priory Bay on the Isle of Wight. We drop anchor, enjoy a refreshing swim straight from the boat, and take a walk along one of the area's most beautiful sandy beaches. 🏖️ From there, we continue across to Portsmouth, passing the impressive Palmerston Forts. Built in the 19th century to defend Britain against a feared invasion by Napoleon III's France, these historic sea forts remain an incredible sight today. As we enter Portsmouth Harbour, I spot some mysterious-looking drone boats floating in the water. Do you know what they are or what they're used for? Let me know in the comments! If you enjoy boating, cruising, and exploring the South Coast, you're in the right place. Please like, comment, and subscribe to join me on future adventures aboard Care Free. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the water! ⚓️
