Planning a Tampa pre-cruise hotel for your next sailing? We break down the room, amenities, staff experience, breakfast, noise levels, shuttle to the cruise port, and how it compares to the Hampton Inn Channel District, where we stayed earlier this year. https://youtu.be/n2rNofRvk_A ⏱ TIMELINE 0:00 Welcome to Tampa 0:05 Hotel intro – Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ybor City 0:12 Park & Cruise Package details & price 0:40 Shuttle reservation + staff experience (Santiago!) 1:15 Room tour begins – Queen bed room 1:36 Bathroom tour 2:08 Shower amenities (Dove products) 2:26 Closet, fridge, microwave, Keurig 2:58 Bedroom layout + USB count 3:34 Workspace + seating 4:04 The famous Wawa next door 4:29 Overnight thoughts + what’s coming next 5:00 Sleep review (bed firmness & pillows) 5:47 SHOWER REVIEW – 10/10! 6:20 Noise levels & interstate location 6:46 Breakfast review (pancakes, cinnamon rolls, coffee machine) 7:27 Shuttle details + trip to the port 7:52 Comparison to Hampton Inn Channel District 8:22 Final hotel rating – 10/10 8:45 On the shuttle to the cruise port 9:14 Return shuttle experience 📌 ABOUT THIS HOTEL Holiday Inn Express & Suites – Tampa Ybor City Park & Cruise Package ($250 total) Includes: Room, week-long parking, cruise shuttle, priority shuttle reservation 15 minutes from Port Tampa Bay Walking distance to Wawa Great staff (huge shoutout to Santiago!)
