Leaving Phi Phi Island Was NOT Easy! 😳 | Phi Phi to Phuket
Our last morning on **Phi Phi Island, Thailand** started beautifully with an amazing sunrise, breakfast at Phi Phi Holiday Resort, and a few final hours enjoying the beach. 🌅🏝️ But getting from **Phi Phi Island to Phuket** turned into quite the travel adventure! After checking out, we took a **long-tail boat to Tonsai Pier** and prepared to travel from Phi Phi to Phuket. My daughter had arranged what we thought would be a faster and less expensive catamaran—but when we arrived at the pier, we were told there weren't enough passengers and that we'd need different tickets! Then came the language barrier, the translation earbuds, a little confusion, and eventually an office that helped straighten everything out. And just when we thought we had enough excitement for one travel day… we realized my grandson had left the brand-new tablet I had bought him at the children's play area back at the resort! 😳 So yes, we ended up paying for a long-tail boat to bring the tablet to us at Tonsai Pier! Eventually, we made it onto a speedboat ferry to Phuket—and let me tell you, that ride felt like an **hour-long roller coaster!** 🚤😂 And even after arriving in Phuket, we still had one more challenge: getting our luggage from the ferry terminal to our Grab pickup. Travel isn't always smooth, but sometimes those crazy travel days become the stories you remember the most!
