Happy 80th Cathay Pacific

Hong Kong is one of those places that I’m always excited to return to. ❤️✈️ I’ve loved traveling throughout Asia, and Hong Kong has a special place in my travel memories. I love the energy, the food, the harbor and especially the architecture including those incredible buildings with open spaces cut through them. They’re often called “dragon gates” or “dragon holes,” reflecting the feng shui belief that dragons need a path from the mountains to the sea. 🐉 So I was especially excited to celebrate Cathay Pacific’s 80th anniversary at The Grove in Los Angeles with my friend and former Princess Cruises colleague Amy. It was such a fun night under the stars! ✨ Cathay Pacific has been connecting travelers with Hong Kong and destinations around the world for eight decades, and I loved seeing the vintage uniforms alongside a look at what’s next. I also got to experience Cathay Pacific’s award-winning Aria Suite Business Class up close. Sitting in the suite while a flight attendant walked me through the full-flat experience made me want to get on a plane and fly to Hong Kong immediately! ✈️🇭🇰 With Aria Suites now available on flights from Los Angeles, I’ll definitely be thinking about that experience the next time I’m planning a trip to Asia. We also enjoyed signature cocktails and dishes inspired by Cathay’s onboard offerings plus the very tempting chance to win a Business Class trip to Hong Kong!
