Amagasaki | Himeji Castle | Wagyu Teppanyaki Experience | The Best of Southern Japan Coach Tour
First off is a visit to the Himeji Castle, arguably the most awesome castle (well there is the golden palace too). As per usual it was raining. There were lots of steps and surprisingly not too many people. I'd rate this visit at close to the top as far as historic Castles in Japan. This is also the last day on the coach tour. After being dropped off at our accommodation at Amagasaki (just north east of Osaka and west of Kobe) our guide hit the frog and toad and left us to our own entertainment. A note on the coach tour - no, not really my cup of tea though I am sure plenty others would enjoy or have enjoyed what it offered. You will have gathered there were lots of travelling interspersed with stops here and there. This coach tour was "bundled" with the Princess Cruise ...... Anyhow, last bit of this video is dedicated to a wagyu experience (of some 7 or 8 course). The tree best wagyu in Japan are Matsusaka Ushi, Kobe Beef and Ohmi Beef. That was Devine and a terrific way to send off the other couples we hade been travelling with. Max & Karen and Paul & Susan departed the following day back to Aus. The Boss and I, we still had about 2 weeks of self exploration of Japan. Our first destination, just up the road at Osaka.
