What's the Dress Code
Cruising is one of the best ways to see the world, but as a lawyer that's used cruise lines for a living, one of the most important pieces of advice that I can share with you is when you're visiting a foreign port, whether it's New Caledonia or Jamaica, find out what the dress code is. The way we dress here, the swimsuits you might wear here in the US are not necessarily what would be permitted in the countries you're about to visit. Go online, check the local rules, check with your cruise line. Carnival, for instance, just issued a warning for New Caledonia, telling people, you know what? You can't wear swimsuits in town. Cover it up. Swimsuits are okay on the beach. Certain kinds, not T-strains. There are certain island countries in the Caribbean where you can't wear camouflage. It's better to know before you go. Let me know what you all think. I'm reporting to you today, 9-11 from downtown New York City. It's a day of remembrance. My name is Spencer Aronfeld. And as always, folks, hit the plus button and follow, and have a safe cruise.
