Sky Princess remains one of the most popular ships in the Princess Cruises fleet, but with newer ships like Sun Princess and Star Princess getting so much attention, is Sky Princess still a good choice? We’ll look at the parts of the ship that impressed me most, including the beautiful Princess Piazza, excellent wake views, quieter spaces around the ship, the Princess Theater, World Fresh Marketplace buffet, Retreat Pool and the overall layout and passenger flow. But Sky Princess isn’t perfect. I’ll also explain why I still dislike the lack of a proper promenade deck, why the main pool area struggles on busy sea days, and some of the Royal Class design decisions that simply don’t work as well as they could.
