A Day at Half Moon Cay | Breakfast, Beach, Dinner & Nighttime on Carnival Sunrise
Come spend the day with us on a Half Moon Cay port day! We started our day with breakfast on the ship before heading ashore to Half Moon Cay. We filmed this in late 2025, when Carnival’s new pier was still under construction, so we took the water shuttle over and got to see Half Moon Cay during a pretty interesting time of change. Once we got to Half Moon Cay, we settled in and spent a lot of time enjoying that incredibly clear water. We also had a little adventure trying to get our reserved clamshell without the ticket we expected to have, and we found out a few things about what was included and what cost extra. We enjoyed the beach, spent time in the water, and stayed almost until it was time to catch the last water shuttle back to the ship. But our day didn't end when we left Half Moon Cay. We headed back to the ship, had a late lunch at Blue Iguana, spent some time in our room, had dinner, and then headed out for some of the nighttime activities onboard. So this isn't just a Half Moon Cay beach video. It's a look at our entire cruise day, from breakfast in the morning, to our time at Half Moon Cay, and then back onboard for lunch, dinner, and an evening of activities. You'll also get a look at Half Moon Cay during construction and see what the destination looked like before all the changes in 2026.
