Orkney Islands – Ancient Stones, Vikings & Crazy Adventures! Come along with Lollie and Pop as we explore the incredible Orkney Islands of Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Our adventure takes us back thousands of years as we explore Skara Brae, an amazingly preserved Stone Age village more than 5,000 years old. We stand among the mysterious Standing Stones of Stenness and visit the spectacular Ring of Brodgar, wondering how people managed to move these enormous stones so long ago. Then it’s off to Kirkwall, where the history gets even more exciting! We visit beautiful St Magnus Cathedral and hear the fascinating—and slightly gruesome—story of the Viking Earl who became Orkney’s patron saint. Stone Age villages, mysterious standing stones, Vikings, saints, kings, castles and gorgeous Orkney scenery—this little group of Scottish islands gave us one BIG adventure! ❤️ Thanks for traveling along with Lollie and Pop’s Crazy Adventures! #OrkneyIslands #Scotland #SkaraBrae #Kirkwall #StMagnusCathedral #RingOfBrodga #StandingStonesOfStenness #ScotlandTravel #LollieAndPopsCrazyAdventures #cruiselife #sallythesheep
