Virgin Voyages Rockstar Suites: Are They Actually Worth It?
Is a Virgin Voyages Rockstar suite actually worth the money... or is it just a really expensive black wristband? As a travel advisor and seasoned cruiser with nearly three decades of experience, I break down what you really get with Rockstar Quarters: the perks that are worth it, the ones that are overrated, Rockstar vs Mega Rockstar, which suite fits how you cruise, and the upgrade bid trick that gets some sailors into a Rockstar suite for a whole lot less. Along the way: Richard's Rooftop, your Rockstar Agent, the famous black band, the "rider" you can send before you sail, the Seriously, Sweet Aft, Cheeky Corner and Brilliant suites, the Gorgeous, Posh, Fab and Massive Mega Rockstar suites, and the fine print on those Mega Rockstar drinks. Full transparency: Virgin Voyages has given me access to some Rockstar perks as a travel advisor courtesy, and I earn commission when clients book through me. My opinions are based on my clients' and my own experience. *CHAPTERS* 0:00 Is Virgin Voyages Rockstar worth it? 0:41 Rockstar vs Mega Rockstar in 60 seconds 1:29 The perks that are actually worth it 3:46 Rockstar secrets most people miss 7:24 Who should skip Rockstar 9:20 Which Rockstar suite to book 11:44 Is Mega Rockstar worth the jump? 14:14 Bonus: the upgrade bid trick 15:33 Final thoughts Want help pricing out a Rockstar suite for your next Virgin Voyage, or an honest answer on whether it's worth it for your sailing?
